Svanehøj to offer pumps for 15 LNG dual-fuel container vessels

Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj has won an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to produce fuel pump techniques for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell fuel pumps will be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is certainly one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It is also the second LNG fuel pump systems order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj within the final yr. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell gas pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that gross sales may increase even additional in 2022.
