Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Standards Body of India, has recognised EKKI Water Technology Group’s Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd for its ‘dedication to high quality and fantastic affiliation with BIS for greater than 25 years’.
The family business was based in 1981 by P Arumugam along along with his uncle KK Veluchamy and friend MS Sundaram, producing pumps under the Deccan brand. This was followed by the creation of EKKI which acquired Deccan Pumps Pvt Ltd in 2013.
