Turkish energy agency, ENKA, in consortium with Siemens will soon start the construction of 1,321 MW Simple Cycle Power Plants in Libya.
The contracts for the two energy plants, 650 MW in Misrata and Tripoli West 671 MW, had been signed with the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) to fulfill the rising electricity demand in Libya.
According to ENKA, the Misrata venture is based on a power island configuration for two SGT5-PAC 4000F Siemens combustion turbine generator models, whereas the Tripoli West venture is predicated on a power island configuration for four SGT5-PAC 2000E Siemens combustion turbine generator items.
pressure gauge digital ราคา of the plants will be dual-fuel fired with gentle gas oil and pure gasoline. Power might be generated and stepped up through the principle transformers to the grid.
The two projects are planned to be accomplished in 2022.
ENKA has been current in Libya for nearly 50 years developing mega-scale initiatives from industrial and power plants to constructing tasks and critical infrastructure.
The Turkish company has other power projects in Libya, together with a 640-MW capacity gasoline turbine power plant in Ubari in central Libya which was tested for connection to the Libyan power grid in October 2017, however has since failed to start operating as a result of political instability and civil wars within the region.
ENKA, additionally a development and engineering firm, has completed 3 energy crops in Libya, 24 urban growth and housing, 6 infrastructure and 24 industrial projects together with cement and desalination vegetation across the nation.
The agency attributes its challenge delivery successes to a confirmed capability and vital expertise working in challenging environments with lack of infrastructure and underneath extremely harsh climatic conditions.
Another Turkish agency, Karadeniz Holding, has proposed to produce electrical energy to the western part of Libya. A technical staff from the company visited Libya final year to present the proposal.
Karadeniz Holding runs a fleet of floating energy turbines generally recognized as power ships which plug into electrical energy grids after berthing. The firm target the Libyan-produced diesel and pure fuel to ship as much as 1,000 MWh.
