PG pumps chosen for Sølvtrans wellboats

PG Flow Solutions has secured a contract to ship pumps to another two wellboats that the Norwegian shipbuilder Aas Mekaniske Verksted is setting up for Sølvtrans.

PG Flow Solutions will provide eight giant seawater circulation pumps for every of the two wellboats. The Norwegian firm will also provide numerous engine room pumps which may be required for the primary engine and assist engines, as well as other general-purpose pumps as required for operating the wellboats.
The two wellboats are Aas Mekaniske Verksted newbuilds 213 and 214.
PG Flow Solutions just lately gained contracts to supply pumps for newbuilds 208 – 212, which are all Sølvtrans wellboats.

The pump systems shall be assembled at PG Flow Solutions’ major manufacturing facility at Sande in Vestfold, Norway, and delivered to Aas Mekaniske Verksted’s yard in Vestnes, Norway.
