Hayward Tyler awarded pump contract for ITER fusion challenge

Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million greenback contracts to support the ITER project in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will provide sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER project is a joint international analysis and improvement venture to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion energy. The demonstration facility is beneath development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.

Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are each part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
