Atlas Copco to amass Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, process pumps and complete metering techniques. The firm employs round 1200 people and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.

Geveke, which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers advanced and sophisticated process pump installations. The firm is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 staff and had revenues of approximately €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has robust engineering capability, offering complete industrial pump options from idea to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is predicted to be accomplished during the second quarter 2022.
The main part of the acquired companies will have its base within the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division within Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
